About Feeding Coventry

Providing connection, conversation and practical support all year round
A safe place – without barriers – providing opportunities to belong and connect, to develop relationships and encourage conversation.
We're here for the people of Foleshill and beyond, regardless of race, background, and circumstance. We're proud to reflect Foleshill and support its people.
As an organisation, we first opened our doors on 13 March 2020 with the launch of our social supermarket. Since then, we've gone from strength to strength, providing more services and supporting more people.
We provide around 5,000 food parcels a year* to individuals and families locally. With social supermarket members paying £5 a shop, saving approximately £20 on an equivalent shop, this represented savings of £96,900* for our community.
When people come to us, they’re often dealing with a host of complex life challenges which can include financial difficulties, mental or physical ill health, isolation, language barriers, parenting struggles and other problems.
That’s why we work with local people to provide a range of support to help address the issues that led them into food poverty.
We strive to create a welcoming safe space where everyone feels welcome. We pride ourselves on empowering our members, supporting them to make choices based on their individual circumstances, based around their hopes and needs.
We believe in helping others to thrive, not simply survive.
